Twelve single Hoosiers are about to get sold to a crowd of 150+ by the friends who know them best. Each friend gets a four-minute PowerPoint to make the case for Pitch a Single Friend. Four minutes. Your last work presentation had less on the line.

Doors open at 6 with check-in, wristbands and drinks. Pitches start at 7:15, and if someone on stage catches your eye, you can virtually raise your hand to be considered for a date (their friend picks the winner). There's a Singles Stems bar where you hand a flower to someone you think is cute, a Polaroid wall where you write your own mini-pitch, free headshots and a photobooth, and group speed friending after the pitches. Not single? Come anyway. Wingmen are welcome. It's 21+.

Chef Levi Kinney studied abroad in Spain, came home, and has been cooking for Indy ever since (his Gordito's Rust Belt Tacos has been running since 2021). Now he has a place built around his own idea of dinner, and Bóveda in Broad Ripple is newly open.

The food is Iberian, rooted in the flavors of Spain and Latin America, with local produce and a menu that rotates with the seasons. Think tapas and shareable plates, exceptional wine, and a chef's table experience. It's small and personal on purpose, a place to linger over dinner instead of rushing through it. Open Wednesday through Saturday, 4:30 to 10.

I know we all love a Crunchwrap supreme from Taco Bell, but skip your usual spot just once for an evening at flavor town. You won’t regret it! Or maybe you will but you probably just don’t know good food.

In the age of white-box vinyl villages, here's a house with actual personality. And by personality, I mean wicker wallpaper. 920 Southview Dr is a four-bedroom, three-bath mid-century modern on a quiet street near Homecroft, and it's still with its single owner. Wood beams across the living room ceiling. Wood paneling throughout. They really don't build them like this anymore.

The main level has a great room with a limestone fireplace, a kitchen with a pantry, a dining room and a huge patio off the back, all flooded with natural light. The bathrooms are colorfully tiled, and there's an indoor hot tub off the primary bath (yes, really). You too can live out your sexy fantasies if they include smelling chlorine first thing in the morning, but honestly, thats a sacrifice I’m willing to make. The walkout basement adds a second living room with its own fireplace. Fireplaces, plural. Pool table. Hot tub. Out back, gravel pathways wind through mature landscaping on a .5 acres. If you’re anything like me, this property has me questioning if I should unnesasarily blow up my life and move into a property.

Don’t worry - when I left the property I sprayed some holy water and said a prayer to keep the flippers away.
