🧗 The Dopest (Coming Soon) — Ripple Boulder
Indy is getting a boutique climbing gym in Broad Ripple and it's being built by people who actually live here. That already makes it different.
Ripple Boulder isn't open yet — spring/summer 2026 is the target — but we're already paying attention and you should be too. Tucked into Broad Ripple right off the Monon Trail, the location alone makes a statement: accessible by bike, walkable from the neighborhood, and squarely in one of the most community-minded corridors in the city.
The founders are local and they're building something that looks and feels intentional — think bold color, genuine fun, and a space that doesn't take itself too seriously while still taking the climbing seriously. Most gyms treat design as an afterthought. Ripple Boulder is leading with it.
Keep your eye on this one. Broad Ripple is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
📍 5255 Winthrop Ave · Right off the Monon Trail
The Dopest Tip: Follow them at @rippleboulder and be the first person in your group chat to know when they open.

🍽️ The Dopest Food — 9th Street Bistro
Yes, it's in Noblesville. Drive there anyway.
9th Street Bistro is a small, intimate, dinner-only restaurant on a quiet street in downtown Noblesville that has absolutely no business being this good. The menu is seasonal and locally sourced, which means it changes constantly and gives you an excuse to go back every few months, which you will want to do. The kitchen does things like corned beef and cabbage egg rolls with house-made thousand island, duck bourguignon, and a pistachio cheesecake that reviewers describe with the kind of reverence usually reserved for life events.
The cocktails are next level, the dining room is small, and the staff knows the menu the way a sommelier knows a cellar. It's the kind of place you only tell your favorite people about — and now you know about it.
📍 56 S 9th St, Noblesville, IN · Wed–Sat, 4:30–9:30PM
The Dopest Tip: Make a reservation. This is not a walk-in situation.

👓 The Dopest Eyewear — Ra Opticians
Full disclosure: we are not ophthalmologists. But we know a remarkable experience when we see one.
Ra Opticians is located off Mass Ave inside the Factory Arts District, and the space alone is worth the visit. It's modern, clean, and multi-sensory in a way that makes you realize every other eyewear store you've ever been in was just... fluorescent lights and an experience you had to endure. From the moment you walk in, the design is doing something intentional — the kind of thoughtful, beautiful environment that makes you slow down and appreciate eyewear for what it is - functional art.
Behind it all are owners Lyle and Jessica, two Indy locals with 25 years in independent eyewear and over 10,000 people fit between them. That's not a marketing number — that's just what happens when two people genuinely love what they do and are exceptionally good at it. Independent, personal, zero pressure. All vibe.
📍 Factory Arts District, 1011 Massachusetts Ave #121, Indianapolis, IN · Tue–Sun, 11AM–6PM
The Dopest Tip: Ask for Jessica. She has an almost unfair ability to look at your face and immediately know the perfect frame shape for you. Just trust her.
